Healthy ways to slim down is neither sudden crash diets nor bursts of heavy exercises. The human body prefers slow changes in terms of amount of food and exercise.
For example, someone who has not been exercising for years should not rush into running miles a day or pounding the treadmill dor too lengthy hours. Not only will the struggle to do so leave you feeling disheartened and disappointed, you are also very likely to injure yourself and set your fitness levels back further.
The same goes for people who suddenly start starving themselves. Diets that severely restrict calories or the types of food 'allowed' can lead you to be deficient in the nutrients and vitamins that your body needs. This can be detrimental to your growth especially for teenagers.
So my advice is, do not rush into anything just to slim down at a fast rate. Take it easy. I will be giving more tips on the right ways to slim down naturally in my other posts. =)
